Archive for September, 2011

On September 1st, I ventured to Lambeau Field to watch the Packers play their last preseason game this year. While I was there, I figured that it would be a great opportunity to get others up and dancing with me. The people I met were full of spirit and such dedicated Packer fans. It made my day to see people having such a great time.

Everything I experienced at Lambeau Field is part of the reason I’m doing this project.

Ellen Degeneres said, in a recent magazine interview, “The world’s a scary place, you know? It can be really sad and stressful and negative. I try to counterbalance that. I believe everything in life is energy.”

With this project, I am trying to spread positive energy and make each day worthwhile. Besides, what is life if you’re not doing something that makes you happy everyday?

Please keep watching, dancing and watching the Ellen Show!

Thanks for all of your support!!

And so it’s the end of another summer. This one seemed to be the fastest one yet.  I still remember when I was about eight years old and summer felt like it went on forever. I miss those days. However, now that I look back on this past summer, I realize that it will be one I will never forget.

It was full of new experiences, new friends and accomplishments.

I moved into my first house with two wonderful roommates whom I couldn’t love more.

I spent my fourth summer in a row working at Mancino’s which has been a big part of my life. My co-workers are great people and such close friends of mine. I will miss all of those that left this summer and wish them the best.

I also took on student research back at school which proved to be a lot of work. Yet, in the end, I feel like I’ve accomplished and learned a lot from it.

This project has been a huge part of my summer too. I’m so glad that I started it. At first, I was nervous but I learned to trust my gut and just go for it. It has given me the chance to exercise my creativity and show people different pieces of my personality.

So I guess this is the beginning of another semester! Good luck to everyone.

In honor of the first day of school, here is a new video…..

Yesterday I ventured to Lambeau Field to see the Green Bay Packers play their last preseason game of 2011! I know that Ellen is a Packers fan herself and figured that it would be a great idea to try and get some Packer fans up and dancing with me while I was there. I made up the “Aaron Rodgers Dance Challenge”. The idea was to get at least 12 people (in honor of Aaron’s number) to dance with me at the game. I’m going to make you wait until I post the video to find out how it went down. All I can say for now is that these people have some great spirit. They really made my day!
